To provide a grab bucket capable of increasing efficiency of a dredging work and reducing an environmental load, and an excess water discharge method in the grab bucket.SOLUTION: Excess water in a bucket is discharged to the outside by a siphon 31 (excess water discharge means) provided on shells 21 and 41. Thereby, the excess water in the bucket can be quickly (forcedly) discharged, and efficiency of a dredging work can be increased. In addition, only clean water in the excess water in the bucket is discharged, and accordingly a surrounding water quality is not contaminated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】浚渫作業の能率化と環境負荷低減が可能なグラブバケット及びグラブバケット内の余水排出方法を提供する。【解決手段】シェル21,41に設けられたサイフォン31(余水排出手段)によりバケット内の余水を外部へ排出する。これにより、バケット内の余水を速やかに(強制的に)排出することが可能であり、浚渫作業を能率化することができる。また、バケット内の余水のうち、清浄な上水のみを排出するので、周囲の水質を汚染することもない。【選択図】図1
