PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grab bucket which inhibits overflow occurring when a grab is closed to scoop up a loaded object and thereby improves the transfer efficiency.SOLUTION: A grab bucket A includes a pair of shells 2, 2 which forms a grab 1 for scooping up a loaded object W and may be opened and closed. Each of the pair of shells 2, 2 includes: an upper opening part 1b formed at an upper part of the grab 1; a flap 13 which is provided so as to protrude and retract from an edge part 1c of the upper opening part 1b; and a flap driving device 10 which causes the flap 13 to protrude and retract.
