To be able to accurately detect a fogging state of glass in front of a camera without being affected by the surrounding environment.SOLUTION: A fogging detection device comprises: a plurality of cameras (a first camera 11A, a second camera 11B) that capture the surrounding information of a vehicle from the inside of the vehicle through a window glass 13; a fogging operation unit 14 that controls the generation of fogging on a part of the window glass (first glass surface part 13A) located in front of the first camera 11A among the plurality of cameras; a fogging characteristic calculation unit 16 that calculates a fogging characteristic amount from images imaged by each of the plurality of cameras; and a fogging determination unit 17 that relatively determines the fogging state in the first glass surface part 13A and a second glass surface part 13B located in front of the plurality of cameras according to the difference in the fogging characteristic amount from the fogging characteristic calculation unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
