To smooth a road traffic for a shared autonomous vehicle while reducing a risk of a traffic accident for the shared autonomous vehicle.SOLUTION: A traffic communication system comprises: a base station having a receiving unit that receives a notification message including information on a vehicle type from each of a first vehicle and a second vehicle; and a control unit that gives a priority to pass through the predetermined road area to either the first vehicle or the second vehicle based on the notification message when it is determined that a passage in a predetermined road area conflicts between the first vehicle and the second vehicle. The first vehicle is a shared autonomous driving vehicle. When the second vehicle is a general vehicle different from the autonomous driving vehicle, the control unit gives the priority to the first vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
