To set a point the convenience of which is high to an arrival point in route guidance to a facility that is set at a destination.SOLUTION: A navigation device 1 comprises: an auxiliary storage device 40 in which map information 45 is stored; a touch panel 80 for accepting a search condition; a facility detection unit 133 for searching the map information 45 and detecting a facility 200 that corresponds to the accepted search condition; and a route search unit 135 for setting an arrival point when performing route guidance to the facility detected by the facility detection unit 133 and searching for a travel route to the set arrival point. The route search unit 135 detects an adjacent road that is adjacent to the facility 200 and sets an arrival point to the adjacent road when the number of detected adjacent roads is one, and selects one adjacent road and sets an arrival point to the selected adjacent road when the number of detected adjacent roads is plural, on the basis of the road type of the plurality of adjacent roads.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】目的地に設定された施設への経路案内において利便性の高い地点を到着地点に設定する。【解決手段】ナビゲーション装置1は、地図情報45を記憶した補助記憶装置40と、検索条件を受け付けるタチパネル80と、地図情報45を検索して、受け付けた検索条件に該当する施設200を検出する施設検出部133と、施設検出部133が検出した施設に経路案内を行う場合の到着地点を設定し、設定した到着地点までの走行経路を探索する経路探索部135と、を備え、経路探索部135は、施設200に隣接する隣接道路を検出し、検出した隣接道路の本数が1本である場合、隣接道路上に到着地点を設定し、隣接道路の本数が複数本である場合、複数本の隣接道路の道路種別に基づいて1の隣接道路を選択し、選択した隣接道路上に到着地点を設定する。【選択図】図1
