    【課題】製造コストを抑えられるハブユニット軸受の製造方法を実現する。【解決手段】嵌合軸部29に第2ハブ素子であるハブ輪22を外嵌した状態で、嵌合軸部29の軸方向一方側の端部から軸方向一方側に向けて伸長する円筒部の軸方向一方側の端面に、第1ハブ素子に相当する軸部材23の中心軸(基準軸C)に対して傾斜した自転軸Lを中心とする回転を自在に支持された押型35に備えられた、自転軸Lに対して傾斜した直線状の母線を有する凸曲面状の加工面部36の円周方向一部を押し付けつつ、該押型35を基準軸Cを中心に回転させることにより、前記円筒部を軸方向に押し潰してかしめ部33を形成し、該かしめ部33により被抑え面59を抑え付けることにより、ハブ輪22と軸部材23とを結合固定する。【選択図】図4
