To provide an electric drive type traveling device capable of improving the cooling property of an electric motor mounted on the electric drive type traveling device.SOLUTION: At a part opposed to (a downstream side projecting end portion of) a stator coil 114 in a motor frame 115, a bypass hole 502 communicating between a downstream side channel 100b and an outer peripheral space of (the downstream side projecting end portion of) the stator coil 114 is formed. The down stream side channel 100b is provided with a second partitioning portion (bypassing wall portion) 501 positioned between a downstream side of the bypass hole 502 on an outer peripheral wall surface of the motor frame 115 and an inner peripheral wall surface of a rear axle 100, as an air guiding portion guiding a part or all of cooling air flowing in the downstream side channel 100b through a ventilation hole 117a to the outer peripheral space of (the downstream side projecting end portion of) the stator coil 114 through the bypass hole 502.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】電気駆動式走行装置に搭載される電動モータの冷却性を向上させることのできる電気駆動式走行装置を提供する。【解決手段】モータフレーム115におけるステータコイル114(の下流側突出端部)に対向する部分に、下流側流路100bとステータコイル114(の下流側突出端部)の外周空間とを連通するバイパス孔502が形成されており、下流側流路100bに、通風孔117aを通過して下流側流路100bに流入した冷却空気の一部もしくは全部をバイパス孔502を介してステータコイル114(の下流側突出端部)の外周空間に誘導する導風部として、モータフレーム115の外周壁面におけるバイパス孔502より下流側とリアアクスル100の内周壁面との間に位置する第2の仕切り部(バイパス用壁部)501が設けられる。【選択図】図4
