To provide a capacitive sensor capable of suppressing corrosion of sensor electrode by electrocorrosion protection.SOLUTION: A capacitive sensor 100 includes: a surface layer 111 that is touched by a hand; a sensor electrode 112 disposed on the rear surface of surface layer 111; a base material 113, which is arranged on the side opposite to the surface layer 111 side of the sensor electrode 112; a grounded electrode 114 located on the opposite side of the sensor electrode 112 on the base material 113; and a control circuit 121 that is electrically connected to the sensor electrode 112. The control circuit 121 alternately applies a measurement potential when measuring hand contact with sensor electrode 112 and a negative potential with respect to the ground electrode 114 to the sensor electrode 112.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
