To solve the problem of a conventional omni-wheel of occasionally causing a hitching onto a step difference.SOLUTION: An omni-wheel 10 has a wheel body 11 and a plurality of barrels 30 each supported by the wheel body 11. The plurality of barrels 30 are arranged in a circumferential direction about a rotary shaft 7 of the wheel body 11. An end outer peripheral part 20 which is an outer peripheral part of the wheel body 11 and present at an end of the wheel body 11 in the rotary shaft direction of the wheel body 11 has a shape such that an outer peripheral edge part of the end outer peripheral part 20 in an arbitrary plane 22 passing through the end part outer peripheral part 20 and the rotary shaft 7 of the wheel body 11 exists on an inner side of the outer peripheral edge of at least one barrel 30 as projected on the plane 22. Hitching onto a step difference on the omni-wheel 10 is less likely to occur by having such a constitution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】従来のオムニホイールにおいては、段差への引っかかりが生じることがあるという課題があった。【解決手段】オムニホイール10は、ホイールボディ11と、それぞれホイールボディ11に支持されている複数のバレル30とを備える。複数のバレル30は、ホイールボディ11の回転軸7を中心とする周方向に並んでおり、ホイールボディ11の外周部分であってホイールボディ11の回転軸方向においてホイールボディ11の端にある端部外周部20は、その端部外周部20とホイールボディ11の回転軸7とを通る任意の平面22における端部外周部20の外周縁部が、平面22に投影された少なくとも1つのバレル30の外周縁よりも内側にある形状を有する。かかる構成を有することにより、オムニホイール10の段差への引っかかりが生じにくくなる。【選択図】図5
