To inhibit deformation of a cross member at a time when a load enters from a lateral side of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A cross member 10 includes an arch-like curved part 11 laid across a propeller shaft 4, and right and left straight parts 12 linking the curved part 11 with right and left side members respectively. An arch member 13 has a pair of right and left lengthwise bars 14, and a sideways bar 15 linking the lower ends of the right and left lengthwise bars 14, and is disposed below the propeller shaft 4 between the right and left side members. The upper ends 14a of the right and left lengthwise bars 14 are fixed to the right and left straight parts 12 of the cross member 10. The lower ends 14b of the right and left lengthwise bars 14 are disposed at a height below the propeller shaft 4, bent toward inside in a vehicle width direction, and coupled to the sideways bar 15. The sideways bar 15 extends straight in the vehicle width direction at a height apart downward from the propeller shaft 4, and couples the lower ends 14b of the right and left lengthwise bars 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
