To provide a technique which improves workability by unitizing an inner gable partition wall, and realizes high sound absorption characteristics.SOLUTION: In a railway vehicle 100 in which a passenger room 103, a deck 102 and an inner gable partition partitioning the passenger room 103 from the deck 102 are provided inside a vehicle body 120, the inner gable partition has: a passenger room side wall material 211 arranged in the passenger room 103 side; a deck side wall material 212 arranged in the deck 102 side; and bone members connecting the passenger room side wall material 211 and the deck side wall material 212. The inner gable partition is formed of an inner gable partitioning unit 200 in which the passenger room side wall material 211, the deck side wall material 212 and the bone members 204 are assembled so as to be unitized outside the passenger room 103. Sound absorption members formed of porous materials having a prescribed thickness are attached to surfaces of inner peripheral wall materials arranged on inner surfaces of a side structure 122 and a roof structure 123 of the passenger room 103 and a surface of the passenger room side wall material 211.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】内妻仕切壁をユニット化することで施工性を改善し、高い吸音性能を実現する技術の提供。【解決手段】車体120の内部に、客室103とデッキであるデッキ102と、客室103とデッキ102とを仕切る内妻仕切を備える鉄道車両100において、内妻仕切は、客室103側に設けられる客室側壁材211と、デッキ102側に設けられるデッキ側壁材212と、客室側壁材211とデッキ側壁材212とを接続する骨部材を有している。この客室103外部で客室側壁材211とデッキ側壁材212と骨部材204とが組み立てられてユニット化された、内妻仕切ユニット200よりなり、客室103の側構体122及び屋根構体123の内面に配置される内周内壁材の表面と、客室側壁材211の表面に、所定の厚みを備えた多孔質材料よりなる吸音部材が、取り付けられる。【選択図】図6
