To provide a battery unit mounting structure of an electric vehicle which can reduce traveling noise while ensuring the mounting rigidity of battery modules.SOLUTION: A battery unit mounting structure of an electric vehicle includes: a floor panel 2; a pair of left and right floor frames 3 which each form a closed cross section longitudinally extending under the floor panel 2 in conjunction with the floor panel 2; and a battery unit 10 supporting battery modules 11 and mounted to the pair of floor frames 3. The battery unit 10 includes: the battery modules 11; a pair of left and right side frames 21 including mounting parts 26 and 27 to the pair of floor frames 3 and longitudinally extending; a battery tray 24 supported by at least the pair of side frames 21 and forming the bottom part of the battery unit 10; and a plurality of cross frames 31 to 33 connecting the pair of side frames 21. The battery modules 11 are mounted to the cross frames 31 to 33 in such a manner as to be displaceable in a vertical direction relative to the battery tray 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
