To provide a battery unit mounting structure of an electric vehicle which can reduce traveling noise while ensuring the mounting rigidity of battery modules.SOLUTION: A battery unit mounting structure of an electric vehicle includes: a floor panel 2; a pair of left and right floor frames 3; and a battery unit 10 supporting battery modules 11 and mounted to the floor frames 3. The battery unit 10 includes: the battery modules 11; a pair of left and right side frames 21 mounted to the pair of floor frames 3; and a pair of front and rear module support mechanisms which include a pair of front and rear cross frames 33 and 31 extending in a vehicle width direction and connecting the pair of side frames 21, and mounting brackets 51 and 52 supporting the front end parts and the rear end parts of the battery modules 11. The flexural rigidity, in a vertical direction, of the module support mechanism including the third cross frame 33 and the first mounting bracket 51 is set to be lower than the flexural rigidity, in the vertical direction, of the side frames 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
