To provide a road surface friction coefficient forecasting system capable of forecasting a friction coefficient on a road surface, even when the road surface state is changed.SOLUTION: A road surface friction coefficient forecasting system includes external information acquisition means 31 for acquiring external information, tire condition coefficient calculation means 34 for acquiring tire information for showing a tire condition of a vehicle, and friction coefficient forecasting means 35 for forecasting a friction coefficient between a tire and a load surface based on a tire condition coefficient acquired by the tire condition coefficient calculation means 34, and on a road surface condition acquired by the external information acquisition means 31, in which the friction coefficient forecasting means 35 forecasts a friction coefficient on the road surface ahead in a traveling direction of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
