To make it possible to provide information on an interruption of automated driving control, resulting from map information, to an occupant in a vehicle or to other vehicles around the vehicle.SOLUTION: An automated driving system includes: a travel plan generation unit for generating a travel plan for a vehicle which includes a control target value of the vehicle corresponding to a position on a target route; a travel control unit for performing automated driving control of the vehicle on the basis of the travel plan, a position of the vehicle, a road environment around the vehicle, and a travel state of the vehicle; a detection value acquisition unit for acquiring a control result detection value in the automated driving control of the vehicle; an evaluation value calculation unit for calculating an evaluation value of the travel plan on the basis of a comparison result between the control target value and the control result detection value; an interruption necessity determination unit for determining whether or not an interruption of the automated driving control is necessary, on the basis of the evaluation value of the travel plan and an evaluation threshold; and an information providing unit for providing information on the interruption of the automated driving control to an occupant in the vehicle or to other vehicles around the vehicle if it is determined that the interruption of the automated driving control is necessary.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
