To reduce tire noise.SOLUTION: A tire has four circumferential grooves 10, 12, 14 and 16. The grooves 10 and 12 are located on a vehicle installation inner side of the tire, and the grooves 14 and 16 are located on a vehicle installation outer side of the tire. The grooves 10 and 12 which are located on the vehicle installation inner side each have a plurality of fences 30 and 32 in the grooves 10 and 12 arranged alternately along the grooves 10 and 12 in contact with each side wall of the grooves 10 and 12. The grooves 14 and 16 do not have fences. The fences 30 and 32 increase path length of sound due to pipe resonance and delay the sound in comparison to the grooves 14 and 16. This directs the sound towards the inside of the tire and reduces the noise on the outer side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
