To provide an engine misfire detection device capable of accurately detecting a misfire state of an engine.SOLUTION: An engine misfire detection device includes: an engine speed change amount detection section 11 detecting a speed change amount of an engine; an engine speed change amount threshold value setting section 16 setting a threshold value relative to the speed change amount; and a misfire detection section 14 comparing the speed change amount with the threshold value and making a misfire determination of the engine when the speed change amount exceeds the threshold value to detect misfire. The misfire detection section 14 prohibits the misfire determination during switching between a differential locked state and an unlocked state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
