To solve the problem in which: a compound for tire cap tread with a high silica content requires (1) excellent wear resistance and (2) improved electrical conductivity, but the techniques satisfying all of them has not existed conventionally.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by a tire rubber composition that contains, based on diene rubber 100 pts.mass, 40-150 pts.mass of silica, and 0.1-10 pts.mass of a carbon nanotube-polymer complex in which a polymer is attached to at least a part of carbon nanotubes.SELECTED DRAWING: None
