To provide a rear-end collision accident damage alleviation system which can alleviate a damage of a vehicle and an occupant caused by an increase of collision acceleration generated by a rear-end collision during a stop of a vehicle, and can suppress a secondary damage caused by push-out of the vehicle to a lane after the rear-end collision.SOLUTION: A rear-end collision accident damage alleviation system determines whether or not the other vehicle approaching from a rear side rear-end collides with an own vehicle when the own vehicle is in a stop state by a foot brake, determines presence or absence of an obstacle within a front prescribed range of the own vehicle when the other vehicle is determined to rear-end collide with the own vehicle, then, forcibly transits a brake by a foot brake to system brake control when the obstacle is determined not to exist, performs brake optimization processing so that a brake pressure reaches a limit brake pressure at which the own vehicle can be stationed in the system brake control, and when the other vehicle causes a rear-end collision, performs steering control and brake control so that the own vehicle progresses to a side opposite to an opposing lane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 停車中の追突により、衝突加速度が大きくなることによる車両や乗員のダメージを軽減させることができるとともに、追突後に、車両が対向車線に押し出されることでの二次被害を抑制することのできる、被追突事故被害軽減システムを提供する。【解決手段】 自車両がフットブレーキにて停止状態であるとき、後方から接近する他車両が自車両に追突するか否かを判定し、他車両が自車両に追突すると判定された場合には、自車両の前方所定範囲の障害物の有無を判定し、障害物がないと判定された場合には、フットブレーキによる制動をシステム制動制御に強制移行し、システム制動制御では、自車両が静止可能な限界ブレーキ圧となるようにブレーキ適正化処理を行うとともに、他車両が追突した場合に、自車両が対向車線とは反対側に進行するように、操舵制御および制動制御を行うことを特徴とする。【選択図】 図1
