To suppress operation disorder of other vehicles associated with the switching of an operation mode of one vehicle among multiple vehicles.SOLUTION: An operation control device performs: a step 601 of transmitting an operation instruction to respective vehicles traveling in an automatic operation mode, so as to allow a time interval when the respective vehicles traveling in an automatic operation mode pass an arbitrary point on a route to be nearly fixed; a step 603 of receiving a notification to switch to a manual operation mode for traveling by an instruction of a boarding attendant from one of the vehicles traveling in an automatic operation mode; and a step 605 of transmitting an operation instruction to the vehicle where an automatic operation mode is switched to a manual operation mode and to the respective vehicles continuing traveling in an automatic operation mode, so as to allow a time interval when the vehicle where an automatic operation mode is switched to a manual operation mode and the respective vehicles continuing traveling in an automatic operation mode pass an arbitrary point on a route to be nearly fixed during a fixed time after the operation control device receives a notification.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
