Each of the side rails 2 includes a web portion 5 and flange portions 6, 7. Each of the reinforcement members 4 includes a vertical portion 8 along the web portion 5, horizontal portions 9, 10 along the flange portions 6, 7, inclined portions 11, 12 extending formed between the vertical portion 8 and the horizontal portion 9 and between the vertical portion 8 and the horizontal portion 10 and extending in an oblique direction. The inclined portions 11, 12 include large inclined portions 15 formed at positions separated from the cross member 3, small inclined portions 16 formed at positions forward and rearward of the cross member 3 and having a length in the oblique direction smaller than that of the large inclined portion 15, and gradually varying portions 17 each formed between the large inclined portion 15 and the small inclined portion 16 and having a length continuously decreasing in the oblique direction from the large inclined portion 15 toward the small inclined portion 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
