To provide a maneuvering method for avoidance in a congested area which promptly performs forced deceleration (brake) without decelerating a main engine, promptly accelerates after releasing the deceleration, and maneuvers for avoidance in a short time and in a short distance, in the state of maintaining an original course in the congested area.SOLUTION: In a maneuvering for avoidance in a congested area, where a present own ship 501 continuously navigates its destination course 502 and keeps one propulsion propeller arranged on a stern rotating forward at all times, a maneuvering method for avoidance gives a rudder angle to a pair of left and right high-lift rudders 102, 103 arranged behind the propulsion propeller, uses the thrust of a propeller wake as a backing thrust, decelerates the own ship 501 against an inertial force in the forward direction of the own ship 501 by the backing thrust and avoids the collision with a counter ship 401, controls the rudder angle of both high-lift rudders 102, 103 after the counter ship 401 passes across the course of the own ship 501, uses the thrust of the propeller wake as a forward thrust, and continues to navigate the destination course.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
【課題】輻輳海域において本来の進路を維持する状態で、主機関を減速させることなく強制的な減速(ブレーキ)を速やかに行い、減速を解除した後に速やかに加速して、短時間に短い距離で避航操船する。【解決手段】輻輳海域の避航操船において、現状の自船501の目的進路502を継続航行しつつ、船尾に配置した一基の推進プロペラを常に前進回転のままで、推進プロペラの後方に配置した左右一対の高揚力舵102、103に舵角を与えてプロペラ後流の推力を後進推力となし、後進推力により自船501の前進方向への慣性力に抗して自船501を減速させて相手船401との衝突を回避し、相手船401が自船501の進路を横切って通過した後に、双方の高揚力舵102、103の舵角を制御し、プロペラ後流の推力を前進推力となして目的進路を継続航行する。【選択図】図7
