To provide a method for manufacturing a pipe body used in a power transmission shaft in which fibers are aligned in a shaft direction while reducing production cost.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a pipe body 2 that is made of a fiber-reinforced plastic and is used in a power transmission shaft 1 includes: a primary molding step of winding a primary material around a mandrel 10 by either a filament winding method or a sheet winding method, and molding an inner peripheral part 8 of a pipe body 2; a secondary molding step of winding a secondary material on the inner peripheral part by the other of the filament winding method and the sheet winding method, and molding the outer peripheral part of the pipe body 2; a curing step of curing a resin between the inner peripheral part 8 and the outer peripheral part; and a removing step of pulling out the mandrel 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】製造コストを抑えつつ、軸方向に繊維が配向した動力伝達軸に用いられる管体の製造方法を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】本発明は、繊維強化プラスチック製であって動力伝達軸1に用いられる管体2の製造方法であって、フィラメントワインディング法とシートワインディング法とのうちいずれか一方によりマンドレル10に第一次材料を巻き付け、管体2の内周部8を成形する第一次成形工程と、フィラメントワインディング法とシートワインディング法とのうちいずれか他方により内周部上に第二次材料を巻き付け、管体2の外周部を成形する第二次成形工程と、内周部8と外周部との樹脂を硬化させる硬化工程と、マンドレル10を引き抜く脱芯工程と、を備えることを特徴とする。【選択図】図3
