To accurately discriminate the state of a vehicle in a vehicle facility while specifying the vehicle to efficiently operate the vehicle facility.SOLUTION: A vehicle discrimination method according to an embodiment includes a generation step and a discrimination step. In the generation step, machine learning is executed such that regions relevant to the number and emblem of a vehicle in a captured image to be a positive example captured by a first camera provided per predetermined parking/stopping region in a vehicle facility are included at least in a feature vector to generate a state discrimination model of a parking/stopping region. In the discrimination step, on the basis of an output value obtained by inputting the captured image to be targeted for discrimination captured by the first camera to the state discrimination model, the number and emblem of the vehicle parked/stopped in the parking/stopping region are discriminated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2B
