To provide a catalyst warming-up control device for an internal combustion engine, in a vehicle which comprises the internal combustion engine and a rotary electric motor and enables the rotary electric motor to drive the internal combustion engine, capable of early activating a catalyst while curbing deterioration of exhaust gas performance and preventing the internal combustion engine from being put into a misfire state when starting up the internal combustion engine through motoring of the rotary electric motor.SOLUTION: A catalyst warming-up control device for an internal combustion engine comprises: a catalyst temperature increase control section which increases a temperature of a catalyst when a predetermined control start condition is met by retarding an ignition timing and rendering an air-fuel ratio lean with rotation of the internal combustion engine maintained at a predetermined rotation speed with an electric motor; an air-fuel ratio determination section which determines whether or not an air-fuel ratio is out of a predetermined air-fuel ratio range while catalyst temperature increase control is executed by the catalyst temperature increase control section; an air-fuel ratio feedback control section which stops control to render the air-fuel ratio lean by the catalyst temperature increase control section and executes feedback control to restore the air-fuel ratio to a predetermined target air-fuel ratio when the air-fuel ratio is determined to be out of the predetermined air-fuel ratio range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】本発明の少なくとも一つの実施形態は、内燃機関と回転電機とを備え、回転電機によって内燃機関を駆動可能な車両において、回転電機をモータリングして内燃機関を始動する際に、排ガス性能の悪化や内燃機関が失火状態に至ることを回避しつつ、触媒を早期に活性可能な内燃機関の触媒暖機制御装置を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】触媒を所定の制御開始条件が成立したときに昇温すべく、内燃機関を回転電機によって所定回転数に維持し点火時期のリタード化及び空燃比のリーン化を実施する触媒昇温制御部と、触媒昇温制御部による触媒昇温制御中に、空燃比が所定空燃比領域から外れているかを判定する空燃比判定部と、空燃比が所定空燃比領域から外れていると判定したとき、触媒昇温制御部のリーン化の制御を終了し、予め設定された目標空燃比に空燃比をフィードバック制御する空燃比フィードバック制御部と、を備えたこと。【選択図】図1
