To activate a catalyst by increasing a rotation number of an internal combustion engine output shaft in a required minimum additional operation of an internal combustion engine, increasing a heat recovery amount of an exhaust heat recovery apparatus due to increase of an exhaust gas flow rate to increase compartment temperature, and activating an electric temperature rising unit with power which is generated by a power generator with an output due to increase of the rotation number.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas exergy map based on exhaust gas temperature according to a load and a rotation number of an internal combustion engine is stored in storage means, and difference determination means R1 determines whether exhaust gas exhausted under a certain traveling condition has gas temperature not less than catalyst activation temperature and a gas flow rate required for compartment warming-up due to recovered exhaust heat according to a difference in a direction of the load and the rotation number on the map. The device includes: engine control means S7 for reaching to the required gas flow rate by increasing the gas flow rate to solve the difference with the increased rotation number when the exhaust gas has the gas flow rate which is not more than the gas flow rate required for warming-up the compartment; and temperature-increasing unit control means S8 for increasing temperature of the catalyst by actuating an electric temperature increasing unit with power generated by a power generator by the increase of the rotation number.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】内燃機関の必要最低限の追加運転にて内燃機関出力軸の回転数を上昇し、排ガス流量の増大により排熱回収器の熱回収量を増やして、車室温度を上昇させ、かつ、回転数増大による出力で発電機が発生した電力にて電気昇温器を作動させて、触媒活性を図る。【解決手段】内燃機関の負荷と回転数に応じた排ガス温度に基づく排ガスエクセルギマップを記憶手段に記憶し、ある走行状態で排出される排ガスが触媒活性温度以上のガス温度と排熱回収熱による車室暖房に必要なガス流量を有するか否かを差分判定手段R1が上記マップ上で負荷と回転数の方向で差分をとって判定し、排ガスが車室暖房に必要なガス流量以下の時、回転数を上げて差分を解消すべくガス流量を増大し必要ガス流量に到達させる機関制御手段S7を有し、回転数上昇分にて発電機の発生電力で電気昇温器を作動し、触媒を昇温する昇温器制御手段S8を設けた。【選択図】図6
