To provide a platform fence system which has a simple constitution and opens movable fences that face doors of stopping cars.SOLUTION: A platform fence system 1 comprises a movable fence 2, a drive unit 3, a control unit 4, an on-rail detection sensor 5 and an obstacle sensor 6. The on-rail detection sensor 5 detects a first car F stopping in a subscribed position range L. For the obstacle sensor 6, an obstacle detection area 61 to detect an object between the movable fence 2 and a platform edge end E and a vehicle detection area 62 to detect the presence of a car not only in a track side of the platform edge end E but also in a track side front of the movable fence 2, are set. When the on-rail detection sensor 5 detects the first car F stops in the subscribed position range L, the control unit 4 determines the number of formation cars based on the presence/absence of cars detected by plural obstacle sensors 6 and outputs a permission to open the movable fences 2 that face doors of a stopping car to the drive unit 3. As such, the number of formation cars is determined without increasing sensors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】簡易な構成で、停車している車両のドアに対応する可動柵を開くホーム柵システムを提供する。【解決手段】ホーム柵システム1は、可動柵2と、駆動部3と、制御部4と、在線検知センサ5と、支障物センサ6を有する。在線検知センサ5は、先頭車両Fが所定の位置範囲Lに停車したことを検知する。支障物センサ6は、可動柵2とホーム縁端Eとの間の物体を検知するための支障物検知領域61と、ホーム縁端Eより線路側に、その可動柵2の軌道側正面における車両の有無を検知するための車両検知領域62が設定される。制御部4は、先頭車両Fが所定の位置範囲Lに停車したことを在線検知センサ5が検知したとき、複数の支障物センサ6が検知した車両の有無に基づいて、編成両数を判別し、判別した編成両数に応じて、停車している車両のドアに対応する可動柵2を開く許可を駆動部3に出力する。これにより、センサを増やさずに編成両数が判別される。【選択図】図4
