To avoid surpassing of an upper limit of charging of a battery even if power generation for driving a power generator by an engine and regeneration of power by a motor upon deceleration of a vehicle are performed redundantly, to thereby maintain recovering of regenerative power and the power generation for driving the power generator by the engine.SOLUTION: A vehicular power generation control device according to the present invention is applied to a series-type hybrid vehicle comprising a main battery, a motor generator driving the vehicle, a sub battery, an engine, a power generator generating power by driving force of the engine, and a control device. The control device, when power is not regenerated by the motor generator upon deceleration of the vehicle, charges power obtained by driving the power generator by the engine into the main battery, while, when power is regenerated by the motor generator, charges the regenerated power into the main battery, and charges the power obtained by driving the power generator by the engine into the sub battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】エンジンにより発電機を駆動する発電と、車両減速時のモータによる回生とが重複する場合にも、バッテリの充電制限の超過を回避して、回生電力の回収と、エンジンにより発電機を駆動する発電とを維持する。【解決手段】本発明の車両の発電制御装置は、メインバッテリと、車両を駆動するモータジェネレータと、サブバッテリと、エンジンと、エンジンの駆動力により発電する発電機と、制御装置とを備える、シリーズ式ハイブリッド車両に適用される。制御装置は、車両の減速時におけるモータジェネレータによる回生中ではない場合は、エンジンにより発電機を駆動して得られた電力を、メインバッテリに充電する。一方、モータジェネレータによる回生中である場合は、回生による電力をメインバッテリに充電し、エンジンにより前記発電機を駆動して得られた電力を前記サブバッテリに充電する。【選択図】図2
