To supply power required for an auxiliary machine for a long term while power in equalization control is effectively utilized.SOLUTION: A battery system 1 comprises a plurality of converters 41 to 43 configured to convert power between blocks which they respectively correspond and an auxiliary battery 3. First equalization control is control to operate the converter corresponding to the block with lower voltage so that the block with lower voltage is charged in at least a pair of blocks whose voltage variation exceeds a threshold by power supplied from the auxiliary battery 3 when a vehicle 100 is in a Ready ON state. Second equalization control is control to operate the converter corresponding to the block with higher voltage so that the auxiliary battery 3 is charged by power supplied from the block with higher voltage in a pair of blocks whose voltage variance exceeds the other threshold when the vehicle 100 is in a Ready OFF state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
