To provide a disc brake which enables a reduction of a variation range of apply operation time of an electric parking brake to keep the apply operation time within desired time.SOLUTION: A piston propulsion mechanism 37 of a disc brake 1a includes: a nut member 77; a shaft member 75 to which rotational movement from an electric motor 35 is transmitted; and multiple planetary rollers 76 which are disposed between the shaft member 75 and the nut member 77 and engaged with the shaft member 75 and the nut member 77. A part of the planetary rollers 76 receives biasing force from one axial direction in an axial direction of the nut member 77, and the other planetary rollers 76 receive biasing force from the other axial direction in the axial direction of the nut member 77. The structure reduces a variation range of apply operation time of an electric parking brake to keep the apply operation time in desired time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】電動パーキングブレーキのアプライ作動時間のバラツキ幅を縮小して、アプライ作動時間を所望時間内に抑えるディスクブレーキを提供する。【解決手段】本ディスクブレーキ1aのピストン推進機構37は、ナット部材77と、電動モータ35からの回転運動が伝達されるシャフト部材75と、該シャフト部材75とナット部材77との間に配置され、シャフト部材75及びナット部材77と係合される複数のプラネタリローラ76と、を備え、一部のプラネタリローラ76は、ナット部材77の軸方向において一方の軸方向からの付勢力を受け、他のプラネタリローラ76は、ナット部材77の軸方向において他方の軸方向からの付勢力を受ける。これにより、電動パーキングブレーキのアプライ作動時間のバラツキ幅を縮小して、アプライ作動時間を所望時間内に抑えることができる。【選択図】図2
