To connect a battery to a charger without stopping the supply of electric power to an in-vehicle device connected to the battery.SOLUTION: An inrush current limiting system 10 includes a battery 12, an in-vehicle device 14, a first main switch 30a, a second main switch 30b, a first sub switch 40a, a second sub switch 40b, a charger 20, a smoothing capacitor 22, and a series element circuit 38 in which a resistor 32 and a third main switch 30c are connected in series, and one end of the series element circuit 38 is connected to the battery 12 side end of the first main switch 30a, and the other end of the series element circuit 38 is connected to the charger 20 side end of the first sub switch 40a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
