To connect a charger to a battery without stopping the supply of electric power to an in-vehicle device connected to the battery.SOLUTION: An inrush current limiting circuit 18 of an inrush current limiting system 10 includes a resistor 40, a precharge capacitor 42 that is connected in series with the resistor 40 and is charged by the battery 12, and a switch group (first Switch SW1, second switch SW2, third switch SW3) that moves a charge of the precharge capacitor to a smoothing capacitor 22 through the resistor 40 in a state where the charged precharge capacitor 42 is disconnected from the battery 12 and the smoothing capacitor 22 is disconnected from the battery 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
