To enable smooth guidance in a branch lane direction by by-passing a lane regulation section without suspending an automatic operation even when a target travel route of a self-vehicle is set in a branch lane direction from a traveling lane and also a lane regulation section is arranged on a target travel route before a branch lane.SOLUTION: A target travel route where a self-vehicle M is to perform automatic traveling is set in a direction of a branch lane 102 from a traveling lane 101a of a main lane 101. In this case, when it is determined that a lane regulation section 103a for regulating the traveling lane 101a is arranged before an entrance of the branch lane 102 based on road traffic information in the periphery of the target travel route that is read from a road traffic information acquisition unit 23a (S11), lane change control to guide the self-vehicle M to an adjacent passing lane 101b is performed before the lane regulation section 103a starts (S15).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】自車両の目標進行路が走行車線から分岐車線方向に設定されており、分岐車線手前の目標進行路上に車線規制区間が設置されている場合であっても、自動運転が中止されることなく、車線規制区間を迂回してスムーズに分岐車線方向へ導くことができるようにする。【解決手段】自車両Mを自動走行刺せる目標進行路が本線101の走行車線101aから分岐車線102方向へ設定されており、道路交通情報取得部23aから読込んだ目標進行路周辺の道路交通情報に基づき、分岐車線102の入口手前に、走行車線101aを規制する車線規制区間103aが設置されていると判定した場合(S11)、車線規制区間103aが開始される手前で、自車両Mを隣接する追越車線101bへ導く車線変更制御を実行させる(S15)。【選択図】図4
