To provide a pneumatic radial tire which suppresses occurrence of cracks in a groove bottom of a shoulder lateral groove and improves durability.SOLUTION: A pneumatic radial tire includes a plurality of shoulder lateral grooves 36 traversing a shoulder land part. In a cross section passing through a groove width center line of the shoulder lateral groove 36, a groove bottom 36S of the shoulder lateral groove 36 includes a first bottom surface part 38 in an inner side in a tire axial direction, and a second bottom surface part 39 extending like a concavely circular arc from the first bottom surface part 38 to a tread surface outer end 2Se and having a radius of curvature R.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
