To obtain a vehicle skeleton structure which can inhibit elastic buckling at an early stage while easing requirements for a reinforcement part to improve flexural capacity of an entire part.SOLUTION: A center pillar 10 includes: an elongated center pillar outer panel 12 formed in a state that a cross section shape, opening to the inner side as seen in a vehicle width direction, extends in a vehicle vertical direction; an elongated center pillar inner panel 14 joined to the opening side of the center pillar outer panel 12 and forming a closed cross section structure with the center pillar outer panel 12; and a reinforcement member 16 provided at the center pillar outer panel 12 along an intersection line Q between a bending neutral surface P, which is set when the center pillar 10 is bent by a load acting in an opening direction, and the center pillar outer panel 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
