To provide a fuel tank structure of a saddle-riding vehicle making it possible to upgrade an external appearance and assembling efficiency.SOLUTION: A tank body 4 is shielded with a tank cover 5, and an inlet cylinder 6 at a fuel filler port formed on an upper surface of the tank body 4 is located in an opening hole 16 formed in the tank cover 5. A circular cushion 19 serving as a damper is disposed on the perimeter of the inlet cylinder 6. The circular cushion 19 has a home base-shaped cross section, and has tapered surfaces 20 and 21 formed at an inside upper part and an inside lower part, respectively. A circular rib 24 jutting downward along the circumference of the opening hole 16 is formed integrally at the tank cover 5. The circular rib 24 has a tapered surface 25 formed at a position opposed to the tapered surface 20 of the circular cushion 19. The circular rib 24 is located at an open part 22 on the inside upper part of the circular cushion 19. The tapered surface 20 of the circular cushion 19 is in surface-contact with the tapered surface 25 of the circular rib 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】外観の見栄え、組み付け性を向上させる鞍乗型車両の燃料タンク構造を提供する。【解決手段】タンク本体4がタンクカバー5で覆われ、タンク本体4の上面に設けられた給油口のインレット筒6が、タンクカバー5に形成された開口穴16内に位置する。インレット筒6の外周には、ダンパーとなる円環状クッション19が配置される。円環状クッション19は、ホームベース形状の断面を有し、内側の上部及び内側の下部にテーパ面20、21が形成される。また、タンクカバー5には、開口穴16の周縁に沿って下方に突出する円環状リブ部24が一体成形される。円環状リブ部24には、円環状クッション19のテーパ面20に対向する位置でテーパ面25が形成される。円環状クッション19の内側の上部の開放部22に円環状リブ部24が位置して、円環状クッション19のテーパ面20と、円環状リブ部24のテーパ面25とが面接触する。【選択図】図1
