To provide a pneumatic tire testing method capable of accurately reproducing tire tread groove cracks which occur in a market and reliably evaluating tire durability.SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire testing method includes: (a) a pretreatment step of holding a test tire filled with air having an internal pressure at a temperature of -45°C to -15°C. which is a melting point of wax contained in the test tire; (b) a running test step in which the test tire which has undergone the pretreatment step is rotated by a bench test device; and (c) an ozone treatment step in which the test tire which has passed the running test step is put to stand in an ozone atmosphere. After performing the step (a), the pneumatic tire testing method performs the steps (b) and (c) alternately in this order.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
