To provide a travelling control device of a four-wheel vehicle that can achieve both improvement in turning performance by yaw moment control by driving force and reduction in frequency of occurrence of understeer behaviour.SOLUTION: The travelling control device of a four-wheel drive vehicle comprises two coupling devices that can change states of engagement between a driving output part at a sub-driving wheel side and left and right sub-driving wheel axles respectively into a torque transmission state or a torque-non-transmission state, where a ratio of rotation speed of the driving output part to an average value of rotation speed of left and right main driving wheel axles is set to a prescribed ratio larger than one. When an engagement state corresponding to the sub-driving wheel of a turning outside is set to the torque transmission state and an engagement state corresponding to the sub-driving wheel of a turning inside is set to the torque non-transmission state, the engagement state set to the torque transmission state is changed to the torque non-transmission state when it is determined that a magnitude |Gy| of lateral acceleration is equal to or larger than a prescribed lateral acceleration threshold Gyth without operation of an accelerator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8

    【課題】駆動力によるヨーモーメント制御による旋回性能の向上と、アンダーステア挙動の発生頻度の低減と、を両立させることが可能な四輪駆動車両の走行制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】副駆動輪側の駆動出力部と左右の副駆動輪車軸との間の係合状態を、それぞれトルク伝達状態又はトルク非伝達状態に変更可能な2つのカップリング装置を備え、左右の主駆動輪車軸の回転速度の平均値に対する駆動出力部の回転速度の比が1よりも大きい所定比率に設定されている。旋回外側の副駆動輪に対応する係合状態がトルク伝達状態に設定され且つ旋回内側の副駆動輪に対応する係合状態がトルク非伝達状態に設定されている場合において、アクセル操作がなく、横加速度の大きさ|Gy|が所定の横加速度閾値Gyth以上であると判定したとき、トルク伝達状態に設定されている係合状態をトルク非伝達状態に変更する。【選択図】図8
