To provide a power generation sailing boat suppressing generation of carbon dioxide during navigation using generated power according to wind state for use in the boat and for driving a hull.SOLUTION: A zero emission power generation sailing boat includes sails standing on a deck, a turbine propeller, and a generator-motor driven by the propeller when the turbine is actuated, and a device for retaining electric energy, power is generated by actuation of the turbine when the wind is strong and while being consumed as ship internal demand power, a residual portion is accumulated in an energy storage device, the generator-motor is actuated as a motor when the wind is weak, propeller action is carried out, and a part of power extracted from the energy storage device is consumed as the ship internal demand power and the residual portion is consumed as a driving power of the generator-motor actuating the motor, and furthermore, a sea route selection device is provided integrating a program for selecting a sea route so that stored power inside the energy storage device is not completely spent based on ocean wind state prediction data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
