To provide a residual possible travelling distance calculating device that is used in a vehicle that travels using electric power, which can optimally make both stability and exactness of calculated values compatible.SOLUTION: The residual possible travelling distance calculating device comprises: total electric energy calculating means 1 that calculates total electric energy, residual electric power that can be utilized for travelling a vehicle; reference electric power cost calculating means 2 that calculates a reference electric power cost as a weighted average in which respective contributions of a current electric power cost and a past electric power cost memorized as cumulative data in data memorizing means M are weighted; and residual possible travelling distance calculating means 3 that calculates a residual travelling possible distance by dividing total electric energy by the reference electric power cost. For the contributions of the current electric power cost and the past electric power cost, a ratio of the contribution of the current electric power cost to the contribution of the past electric power cost is set higher as the total electric energy is smaller. For example, the contribution of the current electric power cost is set to be a fixed value and the contribution of the past electric power cost is set to be quadric function of the total electric energy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 電力を用いて走行する車両に用いられる残走行可能距離算出装置において、算出値の安定性と正確性を最適に両立する。【解決手段】 車両の走行に利用できる電力残量である総電力量を算出する総電力量算出手段1と、データ記憶手段Mに累積データとして記憶された現電費と過去電費の各々の寄与度を重みとした加重平均として基準電費を算出する基準電費算出手段2と、総電力を基準電費で除することにより残走行可能距離を算出する残走行可能距離算出手段3を備える。現電費及び過去電費の寄与度は、過去電費の寄与度に対する現電費の寄与度の比が、総電力量が少なくなるほど大きくなるように設定する。例えば、現電費の寄与度を固定値とするとともに、過去電費の寄与度が総電力量の2次関数となるようにする。【選択図】 図1
