To secure a relatively wide space between left and right wheels in a driving system in which a driving part and a transmission mechanism are disposed between the left and right wheels.SOLUTION: A driving system 1 includes: a frame 10 extending in a predetermined direction; a pair of left and right wheels 20 which are rotatably attached to both end parts of the frame 10 as seen in an extension direction through axles 21; and driving parts 30 for rotationally driving the axles 21. The driving part 30 has: a base plate 31 fixed to an area of the frame 10 which is near a wheel side end part; a bearing part 32 which is fixed to an area of the base plate 31 which is near a wheel side end part; a driving motor 33; and an output shaft 34 rotatably supported by the bearing part 32. Rotational driving force of the driving motor 33 is transmitted to the output shaft 34 through a first transmission mechanism, and rotational driving force of the output shaft 34 is transmitted to the axle 21 through a second transmission mechanism.
