To provide a method of avoiding deadlock due to radio communication with respect to a radio type train control system.SOLUTION: A time slot management device 20 determines whether or not a last time slot of a radio base station 30 can be allocated to a candidate train 60 that is scheduled to enter a communication zone (an object zone) 40 of the radio base station 30 when there is only one free slot in the radio base station 30. Specifically, it determines whether or not a first condition that "there is a train which exists in the object zone and can ensure a course for passing the zone in a direction opposite to the candidate train" is satisfied and determines that "it is possible" when the first condition is satisfied. Then, when the first condition is not satisfied, it determines whether a second condition that "there is a train having conflicting course with the candidate train among trains in the object zone, and the candidate train has a rain order priority prior to the train" is satisfied. The time slot management device determines that "it is possible" when the second condition is satisfied while it determines that "it is impossible" when the second condition is not satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】無線式列車制御システムにおいて、無線通信に起因するデッドロックを回避する手法を提供すること、である。【解決手段】タイムスロット管理装置20は、無線基地局30の空きスロットが1つの場合に、当該無線基地局30の通信ゾーン40(対象ゾーン)に進入予定の候補列車60について、当該無線基地局30の最後のタイムスロットの割り当てが可能か否かを判定する。具体的には、「対象ゾーンに在線する列車であって、候補列車に対してゾーン間を逆向きに通行する進路を確保可能な列車が存在する」という第1の条件を満たすかを判定し、満たすならば“可能”と判定する。第1の条件を満たさないならば、続いて、「対象ゾーンに在線する列車に候補列車と進路が競合する列車が存在し、且つ、その列車順序は当該候補列車が上位であること」である第2の条件を満たすかを判定し、満たすならば“可能”と判定し、満たさないならば“不可能”と判定する。【選択図】図1
