To provide a vehicle battery unit which can be disposed below a front seat in a vehicle cabin while maintaining good airflow in the vehicle cabin.SOLUTION: A vehicle battery unit includes: a battery pack (30) disposed below a seat (5); a first vent pipe part (41) disposed at a first opening (36) provided at a front part of the battery pack; a wind direction determination part (74) which determines flow of air below the seat; a first air supply part (46) which supplies air from the first opening to the battery pack; a second air supply part (46) which supplies air from a second opening to the battery pack; and a control part (70). The control part causes the first air supply part to operate (S240) if the wind direction determination part determines (S220) that a circulation direction of the air below the seat is a direction from the front toward the rear and causes the second air supply part to operate (S230) if the wind direction determination part determines that the circulation direction of the air below the seat is a direction from the rear toward the front.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
