To generate waveform data without requiring an expensive measuring device or without reducing the insulation quality of an electric power line.SOLUTION: A waveform data generator comprises: a read unit (voltage detection unit 11, processing unit 17) for reading a CAN frame Fc from a serial bus SB1; and a voltage detection unit 12 including a contactless voltage sensor 12a capable of detecting a first voltage without contacting an electric power supplying conductor of an electric power line L5. The read unit reads a voltage value data frame Fcv with which it is possible to determine a representative voltage value, within a predefined cycle, of a first voltage value of the first voltage. The detection unit 12 cyclically detects the first voltage via the sensor 12a and outputs a voltage level data Dlv with which it is possible to determine a change of a first voltage level of the first voltage. The processing unit 17 generates waveform data Dwv of a voltage waveform that indicates a change of the first voltage value on the basis of the representative voltage value and a waveform shape based on the frame Fcv, with the change of the first voltage level based on the data Dlv defined as the waveform shape of voltage waveform.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
