To provide a fluid pressure master cylinder for a vehicle which can regulate a posture variation of a piston at an operation without causing size enlargement.SOLUTION: A large-diameter flange part 3b fit with a primary cup 4 for defining a fluid pressure chamber 8 is formed at a bottom part side of a cylinder hole of a piston 3, an annular seal groove 2d fit with a secondary cup 5 for liquid-tightly and movably supporting the piston 3 is formed at an opening side of the cylinder hole rather than a supply port 14 of a cylinder hole 2a, and the cylinder hole 2a between the seal groove 2d and the cylinder-hole opening part is set as a posture holding part 15 for regulating a posture variation of the piston 3. An accommodation hole 3c of a push rod 7 is formed on a center axis CL1 of the piston 3, and a distance T1 from an abutment point P1 between a spherical recess 3d and a spherical protrusion 7a up to the center of gravity G1 of the piston 3 is set shorter than a distance T2 from the large-diameter flange part 3b in a non-operation state up to the center of gravity G1 of the piston 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】大型化させることなく、作動時のピストンの姿勢変動を規制できる車両用液圧マスタシリンダを提供する。【解決手段】ピストン3のシリンダ孔底部側に、液圧室8を画成するプライマリカップ4を嵌着する大径フランジ部3bを形成し、シリンダ孔2aのサプライポート14よりもシリンダ孔開口側に、ピストン3を液密かつ移動可能に支持するセカンダリカップ5を嵌着する環状のシール溝2dを形成し、シール溝2dとシリンダ孔開口部との間のシリンダ孔2aを、ピストン3の姿勢変動を規制する姿勢保持部15とした。ピストン3の中心軸CL1上に、プッシュロッド7の収容孔3cを形成し、球状凹部3dと球状凸部7aとの当接点P1からピストン3の重心G1まで距離T1を、非作動状態における大径フランジ部3bからピストン3の重心G1までの距離T2よりも短くする。【選択図】図1
