PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reservoir of a fluid pressure master cylinder for a vehicle which can prevent the temporary reduction of a working fluid in a float chamber of a liquid level detection device even if a swing-back phenomenon of the working fluid occurs after the vehicle is abruptly decelerated and stopped, and can favorably perform bleeding when filling the working fluid into a liquid storage chamber.SOLUTION: A reservoir main body 5 of a reservoir 4 which is formed long in a vehicle body fore-and-aft direction is arranged at an upper part of a cylinder body 2 of a fluid pressure master cylinder 1, a working fluid pouring port 5a is formed at a vehicle body front side of the reservoir main body 5, and a liquid level detection device is arranged at a center of the vehicle fore-and-aft direction. A partitioning wall 9 in a reservoir main body width direction which partitions a liquid storage chamber to vehicle body fore-and-aft chambers is formed at a vehicle body rear side rather than the liquid level detection device of the reservoir main body 5. The partitioning wall 9 is formed into a dogleg shape which sequentially protrudes to a vehicle front side toward a center of the reservoir main body width direction, and a slit which makes the liquid storage chambers 3 at fore-and-aft sides of the partitioning wall 9 communicate with each other is formed at a center of the reservoir main body width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車両が急に減速して停止した後に、作動液の揺り戻し現象が発生しても、液面検知装置のフロート室内の作動液が一時的に減少することを防止できると共に、貯液室内に作動液を充填する際のエア抜きを良好に行うことができる車両用液圧マスタシリンダのリザーバを提供する。【解決手段】液圧マスタシリンダ1のシリンダボディ2の上部に、車体前後方向に長く形成したリザーバ4のリザーバ本体5を配置し、リザーバ本体5の車体前方側に作動液注入口5aを、車体前後方向中央部に液面検知装置をそれぞれ設ける。リザーバ本体5の液面検知装置よりも車体後方に、貯液室を車体前後に仕切るリザーバ本体幅方向の仕切壁9を設ける。仕切壁9をリザーバ本体幅方向中央部に向けて、漸次、車体前方に突出するく字状に形成するとともに、リザーバ本体幅方向中央部に、仕切壁9の前後の貯液室3を連通するスリットを設ける。【選択図】 図1
