To provide an accidental fire determination device which can determine accurately accidental fire even when resonance is generated on a torsional element while suppressing an increase of processing load, in the accidental fire determination device for determining accidental fire of an engine in a hybrid vehicle in which the engine is connected to the axle side via the torsional element.SOLUTION: An ECU 81 constituting an accidental fire determination device 1 includes: an engine rotation number operation part 81a which determines operation engine rotation number according to operation on the basis of a total gear ratio between motor rotation number, and first motor/generator 11 and an engine 10; a rotation deviation acquisition part 81b which acquires rotation deviation between an engine rotation number and an operation engine rotation number; an average value acquisition part 81c which determines an average value of rotation deviation between a prescribed crank angles; and an accidental fire determination part 81d which subtracts the average value from the rotation deviation to determine the rotation deviation after subtraction and, when the rotation deviation after subtraction exceeds a determination threshold, determines that the engine 10 causes misfire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】エンジンが捩じれ要素を介して車軸側に接続されたハイブリッド車両においてエンジンの失火を判定する失火判定装置であって、処理負荷の増大を抑制しつつ、捩じれ要素に共振が生じた場合であっても精度よく失火を判定することが可能な失火判定装置を提供する。【解決手段】失火判定装置1を構成するECU81は、モータ回転数、及び、第1モータ・ジェネレータ11とエンジン10との間の総ギヤ比に基づいて、演算によって演算エンジン回転数を求めるエンジン回転数演算部81aと、エンジン回転数と演算エンジン回転数との回転偏差を取得する回転偏差取得部81bと、所定クランクアングル間における回転偏差の平均値を求める平均値取得部81cと、回転偏差から平均値を減算して減算後の回転偏差を求め、該減算後の回転偏差が判定しきい値を超えた場合にエンジン10が失火していると判定する失火判定部81dとを備える。【選択図】 図1
