To provide a shock absorption structure for a vehicle 1, which can stably absorb an impact load at the time of collision by preventing a shock absorption member 61 from falling over and deforming due to a load in a vehicle width direction when a front bumper beam 62 collides with an object to be crashed.SOLUTION: The shock absorption structure for a vehicle 1 includes a pair of left and right suspension support members 41 constituting the body of the vehicle 1; a pair of left and right shock absorption members 61 made of a fiber-reinforced resin, the rear ends of which are connected to the suspension support members 41; and a front bumper beam 62 connecting the front ends of the shock absorption members 61 in a vehicle width direction. Member mounting parts 66, of the front bumper beam 62, on which the shock absorption members 61 are mounted include front end connected portions 661a in a substantially flat plate shape to which the shock absorption members 61 are connected, and outer sidewall portions 661b raised toward the rear of the vehicle.
