To provide a suspended load monitoring device having a simple configuration that enables excellent workability of a crane.SOLUTION: A suspended load monitoring device comprises: a camera 10 that captures an image including a hook 83 suspended from the tip of a boom 70, which is attached so as to protrude from the tip of the boom 70 of the crane (a rough terrain crane 100) in the turning direction D1 of the boom 70; an image extraction unit 23 that calculates the position where the hook 83 should be in the turning direction D1 of the boom 70 in the image taken by the camera 10, based on the protrusion amount N of the camera 10 in the turning direction D1 from the tip of the boom 70 and the hanging length L of the hook 83 from the tip of the boom 70, and extracts an image having the position where the hook 83 should originally be in the turning direction D1 of the boom 70 as the center position in the turning direction D1 of the boom 70 from the image taken by the camera 10; and image display means (a monitor 30) for displaying the image extracted by the image extraction unit 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
