To estimate input power inputted to a rotating body from an abutment face on which the rotating body abuts.SOLUTION: An input power estimation system for estimating input power inputted to a tire 1 (rotating body) from a road face 100 (abutment face) has: an input part 11 inputted with vibration detection results of acceleration sensors 21, 22 (vibration detection parts) for detecting the vibration of a specified point of the rotating body; a storage part 12 for storing a power propagation loss L with respect to at least one element which is allocated to each portion in which propagation characteristics of the rotating body are different from one another; and a calculation part 13 for calculating the element energy E of the element on the basis of the vibration detection result inputted to the input part, and calculating an estimation value of the input power Pwhich is inputted to the rotating body from the abutment face from the calculated element energy E and the power propagation loss L which is stored in the storage part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
